Welcome to Hervoice (“Hervoice”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Hervoice website, platform, applications, content, features, and services (collectively, the “Service”).

By accessing or using Hervoice, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. About Hervoice

Hervoice is a digital platform designed to provide information, educational resources, community support, and other resources relating to maternal wellbeing and related areas.

  • Access to articles, audio content, videos, podcasts, community discussions, and professional materials.
  • Hervoice is intended solely for supportive and educational purposes and is not a substitute for professional medical care.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use features requiring registration, unless permitted by law. By using Hervoice, you confirm that:

  • You are legally capable of entering into these Terms;
  • The information you provide is accurate and complete;
  • You will maintain the accuracy of your account information;
  • You will use the Service in compliance with applicable laws.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account. You must:

4. Use of the Service

You agree to use Hervoice responsibly and only for lawful purposes. You must not:

  • Interfere with or compromise the security or operation of the Service;
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or illegal software;
  • Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate others;
  • Scrape, copy, or commercially exploit platform content without explicit permission;
  • Attempt to provide unauthorized professional medical treatment.

5. Health and Medical Disclaimer

Hervoice does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, or emergency medical services.

Information available through Hervoice—including articles, videos, podcasts, discussions, and contributor insights—is intended strictly for general educational purposes.

It should not replace direct consultation with a qualified doctor, psychologist, midwife, counsellor, or healthcare provider.

⚠️ Emergency Notice: If you or someone else is experiencing a medical or mental health emergency, seek immediate emergency or professional medical assistance.

6. Professional Contributors

Hervoice may feature content contributed by doctors, psychologists, midwife partners, or researchers. The inclusion of professional opinions does not constitute an official endorsement by Hervoice. Users are encouraged to independently verify advice for their specific personal health needs.

7. Community & User-Generated Content

You retain ownership of content you lawfully post on Hervoice. However, by submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute it to operate and promote the Service.

8. Community Conduct Guidelines

Our community spaces must remain safe and supportive. We do not tolerate:

❌ Misleading medical claims
❌ Encouraging self-harm
❌ Spam or commercial solicitation

9. Content & Intellectual Property

Hervoice and its licensors own all intellectual property in the Service—including logos, editorial materials, original audio/video resources, and platform software. Content is licensed strictly for personal, non-commercial use.

10. Third-Party Services

Hervoice may contain links to external healthcare providers, payment portals, or third-party platforms. We are not responsible for third-party privacy policies, availability, or accuracy.

11. Privacy and Personal Data

Your privacy is essential to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, process, and protect your personal health information.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Hervoice is provided on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis. Hervoice and its affiliates shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses resulting from reliance on platform content or temporary service interruptions.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any legal disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the appropriate courts of Ghana.
